Pavis Devahasadin na Ayutaya Pavis Devahasadin na Ayutaya graduated in July 2007 with first-class honors, the gold medal, King Bhumibol’s valedictorian scholarship and a degree in political science and international relations from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. As an undergraduate, Pavis was actively involved in various extracurricular activities including the Thai ministry of foreign affairs, for whom he served as an Ambassadorial Youth Delegate to Bhutan and Nepal and an intern in 2005. He was also a veteran debater and event organizer at school. First-hand experiences at home and abroad in international affairs, combined with vigorous academic training, motivates him to further his studies in the same field. Pavis is working toward his M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Southeast Asia Studies and Emerging Markets. The previous summer, Pavis interned at APCO Jakarta, a DC-based public affairs/public relations company, and received training in consulting work. He was involved in various research projects and developed a comprehensive corporate social responsibility database for the firm. With an understanding of Asian international affairs and development issues, Pavis is determined to pursue a career with an international development organization or a consulting firm. |
