Pinsuda Alexander

Pinsuda Alexander is a 1999 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where she studied government and international relations. After graduation, Pinsuda served as an officer in the Coast Guard where she blended her undergraduate studies with Coast Guard missions in the field of international training and security cooperation.

At SAIS, Pinsuda has focused her studies on development and non-traditional security issues in Southeast Asia.  In the summer of 2008, she interned with an international non-governmental organization in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, to study the roles of and coordination of development actors in a post-conflict and post-disaster environment.

Upon graduation in May 2009, Pinsuda plans to continue her work in development in Southeast Asia.
