Requirements
To view the requirements for WHS students spending one year in Bologna and one year in DC, please click here.

Latin American History Exam and Tutorial
All Latin American Studies concentrators must pass the History of Latin America exam.

Canadian studies students do not need to pass the exam, unless they wish to qualify for WHS sponsored internship opportunities in Latin America.

In the DC campus, the final exam for the History of Latin America course - 810.794 fulfills the requirement.

In Bologna, the History of Latin America exam must be taken on a not-for-credit basis and is pass/fail (with the option to retake in case of failure).  A reading list is provided to help students prepare for the exam.  Powerpoint outlines/sample questions are also provided.  To view the reading list and outlines available, please click here.  Finally, an intensive one-and-a-half-day tutorial providing a brief review of the material will be offered on the first weekend of the spring semester (dates TBD).  THe three-hour exam will be offered immediately after the tutorial, date and time TBD.
