
Members of the JHU Beijing Alumni club include SAIS China Studies and Hopkins-Nanjing Center alumni as well as alumni from various other divisions of Johns Hopkins University.
Activities JHU Beijing Alumni host many activities to provide fellow alumni, students, professors, and friends of the JHU the opportunity to relax, trade stories, reconnect with old friends, meet new people, and discuss all things China.

Past Activities
Hopkins China Forum - Beijing At the inaugural Hopkins China Forum - Beijing hosted by the Capital M on January 9, 2011, Professor David M. Lampton, director of the SAIS China Studies program, and Professor Tao Wenzhao, senior researcher at Tsinghua University's Center for American Studies, discussed the role of public opinion and media on U.S.-China Relations. The event was moderated by Patrick Cranley, Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Hopkins-Nanjing Center.
At the Capital M on March 20, 2011, SAIS Professor Matthias Mattjis spoke about "The Global Battle for Economic Ideas: China, the U.S., Europe and coordination within the G-20" with Professor Xinning Song, Jean Monnet Professor ad personam, Center for European Studies, Renmin University. The event was moderated by Raffaello Pantucci of the European Council for Foreign Relations and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
