SAIS China Forum

Each Year the China Studies department organizes a monthly lecture series bringing leading experts on dimensions of China policy from academia, the business world, and the policy community to speak at SAIS.  For information about upcoming programs check the SAIS calendar or contact zji@jhu.edu.

China Studies Brown Bag Luncheons

China Studies Brown Bag Luncheons provide opportunities throughout the semester for members of the China Studies program and other in the SAIS community to explore current topics on China with experts in an informal setting.

Research Opportunities

China Studies offers a research seminar in Chinese economic and financial development for which students complete research papers of publishable quality. In addition, students may have opportunities to serve as research assistants for academic books or other projects. Students also may receive limited support for formal research projects in China undertaken in lieu of a summer internship between the first and second years of their academic program.
