Online Principles of Economics | Faculty

Dale W. Larson, Ph.D., SAIS Professorial Lecturer in International Economics. Currently advises worldwide government and non-government organizations on international trade policy, foreign investment and economic development as the principal consultant of Larson Global Consulting, Inc. Has over twenty-five years of experience as an economist, specializing in U.S. government and Japanese issues. Also serves as an adjunct professor at the American University School of International Service. Previously served as a deputy manager and senior economist at The Mitsubishi Research Institute's Washington Liason Office, international economist for the U.S. Treasury, vice president and senior economist for the Bank of America, and chief of the resarch divison of the U.S. International Trade Commission. Received his Ph.D. in international economics from the University of Wisconsin.
