Summer Programs SAIS Summer Programs offers a selection of courses from the International Relations, International Economics, International Development, regional studies and language curricula. Courses are taught in a small-classroom environment during convenient evening hours in a intensive eight-week format. Admission is entirely independent from degree-program admission. Pre-Term Pre-Term in Washington, D.C. is a full-time program for incoming SAIS degree students . Pre-Term provides an opportunity for students to jumpstart their study of economics and get reacclimated to the academic world prior to the start of the fall semester. Online Principles of Economics Online Principles of Economics is a 12-week course in principles of microeconomics and principles of macroeconomics for incoming SAIS degree students. Students may participate from anywhere in the world. Part-Time/Non-Degree Programs SAIS accepts a limited number of part-time, non-degree students for study during the fall and spring semesters. Executive Education Programs SAIS offers customized intensive seminars to groups of corporate executives and professionals that are designed to accommodate participants' work schedules and specific training needs.
