Thai Language Program | Home

The Thai language program offers many courses through out the year based on students’ needs, background, and an approval from Language Studies and Southeast Asian Studies.  The main goal of the Thai program is to assist students to obtain minimum proficiency requirement to fulfill the degrees program.

The Thai syllabus is a proficiency-base syllabus.  However, grades for each course will be a combination of class participation, individual project, and mid-term and final exam.  Students who are enrolled in Thai Beginners must complete all four courses in order to request for proficiency exam.  Students who had previous language training may request to take the proficiency exam with the approval of Southeast Asian Studies Program and the Thai professors.
