Novice Low -� course 909#710 -� introduces basic Russian grammar, survival need vocabulary#�

Novice High course 909#712 - continues to introduce basic Russian grammar and vocabulary, and introduces elements of reading newspapers#

Intermediate Low -�course 909#720 - strengthens the grammar on the basis of political vocabulary and introduces elements of speaking, listening, and reading of different political/economic/security issues found in the news#

Intermddiate Mid 1 - course 909#721 - continues to strengthen the grammar on the basis of political vocabulary in in speaking, listening ande reading of different political/economic/security issues found in the media#

Intermediate Mid 2 - course 909#722 - reviews the grammar and expands the required specialized vocabulary# Speaking, listening and reading develop in length and substance with elements of paragraphed speech#

Intermediate High - course 909#723 - continues to review the grammar and expands the required specialized vocabulary# Speaking, listening and reading grow in length and substance with elements of paragraphed speech#

At the Advanced level - course 909.300 - which is offered at the post-proficiency level, students focus on mechanisms of paragraphed speech, listening and reading involve longer articles based on supported opinion and hypotheses. Instruction in formal grammar is minimal.
