STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TAKE THE PROFICIENCY EXAM
If you have not passed a Level 4 course at SAIS-DC or Bologna, you MUST first take both parts of the Placement Exam. You will be informed right after the Oral Part if you are eligible to take the Proficiency Exam.

Class schedules
      - Class schedules depend upon the profile of the program each semester (total number of students and number of students who placed at each level offered).
         So,
NO schedule is confirmed until the Organizational Meeting on Friday, Sept 5th.

We guarantee all schedules are within language block. So, you may register for any SAIS non-language course you wish to take without any risk of conflict.
We cannot guarantee that all students get their 'ideal' schedule but please inform us if you have internships or part-time jobs. We will try to take these into account insofar as we can.

Registration
After you have received your class assignment,
        - you will need to register for
the level/section you were placed into.

please contact Dr. Pascale DeSouza:  pdesouza@jhu.edu
