Re:         IMPORTANT NOTICE - DEADLINE EXTENED to JAN 11, 2009 –

SIP IDEV Summer Internships with CAD Peru and Opportunity International China

Thank you to all first year IDEV students for sending in your applications for IDEV summer internships for summer 2009. Individual acknowledgement emails were sent to each of you by me, letting you know your applications have been received.

IMPORTANT: If you have not received an email from me, please re-send your application.  For Bologna applicants, make sure you copy Ann Gagliardi (agagliardi@jhubc.it ) and Veronica Pye (vpye@jhubc.it) in addition to the IDEV DC based SIP selection committee; Cinnamon Dornsife cdornsife@jhu.edu, Marty Tillman mjtillman@jhu.edu, Mary Roes mroes1@jhu.edu, Victoria Wilson vwwilson@gmail.com and Jens Wirth jwirth08@johnshopkins.it

As there were no applicants for CAD in Peru or for Opportunity International in China, we have extended the deadline through Jan 11, 2009 (this Sunday, COB) You may apply for either internship if you have not applied for two SIP internships already, and as long as you are seriously interested in the internship.

Both are excellent opportunities. For CAD in Peru, please email SIP 2008 intern Julie Weaver Julie.weaver@jhu.edu to learn more about her experiences. For Opportunity International in China, please email SIP 2008 intern Josh Ruyle  at joshruyle@gmail.com
