Martina Green, MPS ERE Program Coordinator Martina is originally from Boston, MA. Her background is in the performing arts, as a former violinist, where she attended the Walnut Hill Performing Arts School and is a graduate of the merit string program, Project STEP based out of Boston Symphony Hall. Martina earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in education, and held various leadership positions throughout college. Upon graduation she worked in the nonprofit sector as an Advocate at Rosie's Place, a homeless women’s shelter, and as a Paralegal for the Legal Advocacy & Resource Center in Boston, MA. Martina also assisted in the start-up of the string music program Open Access to Music for Education for Children (OAMEC - Boston, MA), initially as a Violin teacher, and later as the Public Relations Manager-Consultant. Martina earned a Masters degree in Arts & Cultural Management (nonprofit management) from Pratt Institute NY in 2009, where her focus was on starting an arts charter school. Upon graduation Martina moved to the Washington, DC area where she has worked for Johns Hopkins University in various capacities during the past year, and is pleased to join the Energy, Resources, and Environment Program as the Program Coordinator. |
